Aston Villa one of three teams interested in signing Sancho

Aston Villa are among three clubs interested in signing Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho, according to TeamTalk.

    Chelsea were open to keeping Sancho if he took a pay cut of £300,000 a week, but the player refused and Chelsea agreed to pay a £5m fine to cancel their £25m obligation to buy.

    Manchester United are desperate to sell Sancho as they look to raise funds to rebuild their squad.

    Napoli are in need of a new winger after losing Kvicha Kvaratkelia to Paris Saint-Germain earlier this year and are interested in Callum Hudson-Odoi (Nottingham Forest), Alejandro Garnacho (Manchester United) and Jesus Rodriguez (Real Betis).

    Sancho is the latest name to be added to Antonio Conte’s list after winning the Scudetto.

    While AC Milan have already gathered information on Sancho in case they release Rafael Leao this summer. 

    Aston Villa are reportedly interested in Sancho as they look for a new left winger. 

    Marcus Rashford played in that position for Villa last season, as well as playing as a centre-forward, but Unai Emery is yet to decide whether to trigger his £40m buy-out clause, although it is understood Rashford is set to move elsewhere.

    Villa are looking at bringing in Sancho to replace Rashford in that position.
